Mrs. Pöyry-Lassila, Lic.Sc. (Tech.), M.A. (Educ.), works as a project manager, researcher, and teaching research scientist at SimLab, TKK. She is currently finalizing her Ph.D. thesis that focuses on informal learning and collaborative knowledge creation in technology-supported virtual teams. Her multi-disciplinary research interests include, e.g., the role of boundary objects in the work of virtual teams, and innovative knowledge communities and communities of practice as a structure of knowledge creation.
